TKAM Chapter 24&25
Choice C: So far, is this a novel about race? Class? Gender? Coming of Age? Place? Select and defend your answer.
I feel that this book is mostly about race and what class you are in. If you are apart of the rich people then you would probably live the best lives out of everyone else.Th reason why class is a big part in this book is because in Maycomb the higher you are in class the more respect you have in the town. Respect was something I think all of the black people wanted. I think they have already got over this feud about different color of the skin and how everyone is equal. I think they want all the other white people to understand that it doesn't matter about your skin color.
I also think race has a big part in this book because the white person always wins. I think that if Tom Robinson was a white person he would have easily won the trail. I think that in this book it may all turn around. Like the black people will become more respected than the whites. I think this because when Tom Robinson said that he felt sorry for the Ewells it changed the hole story. At first you would feel that people would feel sorry for the black, but they actually feel sorry for the whites.
